I was wondering if anybody else has these symptoms? When I wake up in the morning I don't want to get out of bed or go out and do anything. My stomach is hurts all day long,I try to calm down but I can't, I don't hardly eat or sleep. I start sweating all of a sudden and then get cold. I just want to feel like my old self again!! Sometimes I think I'm going crazy!!

These are all symptoms of anxiety Linda Lou.
Sometimes depression can cause some of them as well.

I am nearly always like this so I understand what you mean.

Have you been to your doctor or on any medication?

Take care

I always feel better at night Linda Lu. I dread going to bed/sleep because I
know what the morning will bring. The awful feelings, palpitations, etc.
Sometimes I lie there in the morning and wish I never had to wake up.

Hi LindaLou,
I am just wondering how you are feeling and
whether you are still taking sertraline.

Also, how did you get on with the ct scan?

Take care x

Yup, most nights in fact :( This is definitely anxiety LindaLou. It will take some time to run the tests just to be sure, try to have some patience in the meantime. Work on some anxiety techniques that you can look up if you aren't familiar -- like breathing exercises, progressive muscle relaxation, meditation.

I would also go ahead and make a therapist apt. Cognitive behavioral therapist is usually the best for those of us with anxiety disorders. These are all things that can help you feel better and get back to 100% But it will take time, try to have some patience with yourself in the meantime.

Yes to the above. Used to only feel normal at night and would have a rush of energy and stay up and always knew I’d be an anxious mess again.

And yes to this too! I take sertraline and I’m typically feeling “normal” a vast majority of the time now

I hope it works for you too!!

Hi Linda Lou your gp seems to be doing the right thing by ruling out any physical problems . It will takes a few weeks for the sertraline to properly kick in . Hope you don’t have to wait too long for your ct scan
