I feel a bit anxious today a bit weak and worry it’s a panic attack? Has anybody else had this? I sat around doing nothing all day so fear that’s the trigger? I worry when I feel this way I am dying or something? Any tips?

Hi Phil
Try & do something to keep occupied it’s hard when you feel weak too
Most of us have felt that way many times before ( dying)
Have you tried meditation or mindfulness on YouTube it is a great way of distracting yourself so ease your mind
There is loads on YouTube that’s worth listening too that l find relaxes me - keep practicing

Yes I had my tablet but let me talk about my experience further when I had a breakdown I felt funny and had a bipolar episode and worried I could see signs of death. Anyway this was scary today I went into an anxiety chat which was charging about death and I seen some old people walk past the street and the magazine I was reading mentioned death in a movie I worry it’s like signs? When people die maybe they see signs? Perhaps I am over reacting?

My wife couldn’t see yesterday and I was worried she would die as she sort of had a funny turn plus I worry about dying every single day rather than dying of old age I have visions of having a fantastic day out and suddenly dying?

I seem to get anxiety daily often at work and the symptoms still freak me out. I know a therapist would try and help me get use to these symptoms but how can I stop feeling anxiety feelings daily?

The best way is to calm yourself. You can do that with music, singing, deep breathing, meditation and things like that.

Distraction also works. You can forget your anxiety if your focused on something. The deeper the focus the less anxiety gets through.

Does anybody ever feel obsessed with breathing like always aware of it? Sometimes I can sit and woot myself into a panic attack due to it?

Another symptom I get is conjested ears anybody had that?

Hi Phil yes I get congested ears too
I tend to concentrate on my heart beat & get myself in a state - also get plenty of palpitations which also makes my panic even worse
I can’t tell you how to not have anxiety feelings as l don’t know myself
There is not many days that anxiety doesn’t rear it’s ugly head for me
And like you said CBT therapy does help you with distraction & facing your fear sometimes l can put it into practice but to be honest the physical symptoms still scare the hell out of me -
I have been over worrying lately and wanting to stay in bed
But it’s the weekend tomorrow & I am going to push myself to do some jobs I’ve been putting off

Thanks does anybody ever get a split second of confusion I’ve had it a few times then I feel awful anxiety and have a tension spot in my head anybody else had this? It usually passes after a while

update the anxiety seemed to pass but I have panic attacks each night which is so hard

I am new here but I also get anxiety everday for weeks at a time then it’s gone,until something triggers it. It raises my blood pressure, I am on meds for bp. Anxiety pushes it into the danger zone. My hands and feet sweat nonstop my anxiety medication doesn’t help. And its like a circle of fear that feeds itself. It triggers migraines and arthritis flare ups. I am at a loss, I’ve been through counseling and psychiatrist. Sorry for rambling

How can I avoid panic attacks every night? For months now I suffer awful panic attacks each night? Why is it happening more at night?

Phil,that is interesting because I wake up in a state of panic but I am most relaxed at bedtime. Even if I nap on the couch for a bit I wake up in a panic.
