Is there anyone you can talk to? When I had panic/anxiety attacks, talking to my parents helped. Try drinking cold water and sitting down. Try to control your breathing and find a quiet place to try and calm down.

12 hours is a very long time. I remember having panic attacks for several days. Talking to someone helped me.

I'm hoping the best for you.

Ty. Im going to try my best.
For me breathing exercises and realisation works (going outdoors for a walk (if that's not part of the anxiety), feel the ground beneath your feet, the sounds you hear, the smells you smell, the colors you see.

hope you feeling better soon

Sorry to hear that. Has there been any changes in your life lately that could explain the anxiety coming back?

I experience this anxiety too and find it very debilating I tried all types of breathing exercises but none worked In desperation i went to my GP who perscribed me some diazepam and beta blockers which have helped greatly Now my worry is the addiction properties of these drugs moses

I found that by holding ice cubes in my hands help to control my anxiety. I’ve been known to stick my hands hands in the freezers when I’m in a supermarket. It looks weird but it helps.

If the diazepam is helping you now with the panic attacks that is at least something. Untreated panic attacks and anxiety can be debilitating. You can tell your doctor you are nervous about becoming dependent on them and they can help with that. I do understand your concerns but i wouldn't let it interfere with your treatment.

Hey thx for the replies everyone. For me, i figured out how to relax into a state between sleep and awake; similar to dozing off without being asleep. Which was what i needed. I havent relaxed in a week, so this helped me get baseline. How its done is another question that ill make a seperate thread about.

Your GP should not be dishing out diazepam as it’s highly addictive. You should be limited to the amount you can have. I take lorazepam but am only allowed 14 per month so as not to become dependent on them. You need to discuss this your GP.

I don't think anyone said anything about dishing them out.
