Anxiety over heat

Hi all.. does anybody else get an attack come on from feeling too hot? Everytime I feel heat I start to panic, I get dizzy, stomach aches, headache and start to tremble.. anxiety is definitely taking over my life

I haven't always felt like this towards heat. I have seen a dr and she said it was just anxiety and to breath through it.. this doesn't work for me. I have to cool down before I feel any relief, so now I dread the warm weather

Hi. I'm Moviemama. Could it be from your medications? In the mean time there's cooling body pillows and ice packs and cool showers. I'd go to your doctor and tell him. Menapause? Hopefully this helps. I wish you some relief soon.

Have you tried an ice pack on the back of your neck? I find it helps me when my nervous system is working overtime and I get really overheated. Hopefully that helps. A cool bath or shower? I wish you relief.

I think ice pack is a good idea , you could carry your own water bottle (one of those that keep its temperature cold) and take a sip of it whenever you feel anxious?

Yes! I don’t know why but if I start to feel hot I get very anxious about it and I have to cool down right away or I get a full blown panic attack. It’s the weirdest thing. Glad I saw this thread, thought it was just me that this happened to.
