Hello.
I've just joined to talk to like minded people, , I'm having the most awful anxiety episode which has lasted a little over a month now. Somedays are ok. Others are horrendous. I'm so insecure with my partner that it's making me want to separate from him, just to get some space. When I get a flare I get palpitations, tinnitus, nausea, dry mouth, stomach pains, crying spells and I end up having a bit of a meltdown if it builds too much. Are these familiar symptoms? I feel far from normal right now. Please tell me if you get these, how you combat it. I would like to hear your experiences X

Just slow down and try to relax.
Get a good sleep and wake refreshed.

All signs of stress and anxiety remember how you feel now is never a permanent state of mind things will improve. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger 😊

Welcome. I suffer GAD and a phobia. I see a therapist twice monthly. This has helped. I do deep breathing and mindfulness but it has to be done on a daily basis to get the desired effect. Anxiety is debilitating and can stop you from enjoying yourself. I have missed so much in life and wish I had done this years ago. Take care and speak to a professional xx

It's normal. Medication, therapy, pets, staying off social media, nature, journalling all help me. Make time to do calming activities that you enjoy. Don't make any decisions regarding your relationship when you're having an episode, wait til a new day and a clearer mind. Hope you're doing okay
