Is it normal to feel very angry after a 'depressive episode'?

I often find I can be very low, even suicidal for a few days and then feel very angry  the sort of angry where I want to pick fights on people, including police officers, doctors etc etc.

Thankfully I have yet to show anyone other than my husband my angry side, I guess thats the only good thing about having a social phobia - i never go out anywhere when im in an 'angry state'.

This time I got really angry then went into bad depression, with the suicidal and self harming thoughts.
So it could be normal, just a part of the mixed emotions we go through.
sorry probably not much help but just want you to know your not the only 1.
take care.
