hi, im angry all the time, everything annoys me, i loose something and im angry, im late up and im angry, i cant sleep and im angry i just want to get rid of this anger its like i have a kettle boiling in my head and i dont know why, i have no reason to be angry.

my gf, sez its cos i had an abusive childhood, i dont think thats the case cos i dont get angry about that, i know my mother was ill she had undealt with mental problems, some kind of psycosis at a guess.
I dont blame her cos i know she was ill, and she never dealt with it.

I think my problem is perhaps some inherited issues from my mother only i can controll it to some extent i can controll what i take my anger out on, inanimate objects feel my anger, wheras with my mother it was me and my dad.

I dont know its just theories but I know i cant carry on like this.

Maybe you need an anger management course. Your doctor might be able to help or perhaps CBT = Cognitive Behaviour Therapy could help where yiu could work out ways of defusing the anger

I am like this too, I have been told I am a very angry person, that this is obvious, even when I am not ostensibly angry.

I am not sure what causes it, I think having a childhood where you were invalidated or treated badly can have an effect and also if people have fucked you over enough times in life it builds up and festers, it can also be things like caffeine addiction and stress and stuff.

I find exercise helps me to an extent though sometimes I get gym rage too eg when people are hogging the equipment.

But yeah maybe anger management would help and/or looking at the reasons why you feel this way and dealing with that.

I get very angry as well but it's much more "internal" with me. I just seethe, and then occasionally have an outburst.

Has this been a life long issue or is the anger more recent?
Sometimes I find that I get very angry at every single little thing, and it is usually a sign that i'm getting unwell in other ways.
My adolescent psychiatrist described it as "agitated depression", and I think that really fits.
So yes, if this is a fairly recent development then it could be a sign that things may be going a bit downhill, in which case I would suggest being prepared and trying to put more support in place. x
