I have called it this because its like a panic attack
but its anger instead
and its like a blinding rage that I cant identify the cause of

I have been to a 12 step meeting today
there was a man there
who kept saying it was good to be around
a group of nice soft ladies !

I heard this one too many times
and then I said I'm not sure if I'm a nice lady
I have a lot of anger going on !

this could be considered ' cross talk '
because we dont interact in the meeting
but I started to feel we were being pigeonholed
and given a gender stereotype

and how would he feel
if I went to his meeting
and said how great it is to be in a meeting
full of really tough guys !

then I came home and read some stuff on the internet
about abuse of power and stuff

and then this blinding rage

so I had a lie down for a while
and now ive written this I think its helping

That sounds out of order to me too.

I'm glad writing it down has helped you. This is a safe place to vent.

Thank God I do not have experience of rage or anger. I have been around people like ths it is very scary. I am glad you are talking about the rage. I hope it helps.

thankyou guys, giving me permission to vent
not sure ive had it before

funny thing was at the start of the meeting
I though I saw him smirk at someone else who was new
and I thought dont be silly he is not smirking
but maybe he was actually

I doubt my own judgement sometimes

Get the thoughts of this person out of your head as they only damage your equilibrium. Such thoughts don't have the right to be in your mind.

Be kind to yourself.

thankyou, oh yes I'm coming down to his level
because he has brought it out of me !
I forgot about that

be kind to myself

you know I never understood that one
until I see other people on the forum
being hard on themselves
and then I know what it means
