The medication has cured me and I will stay on it for life. For anyone hearing voices, try Paliperidone 6mg. Thank you to my forum friends for your support. I am thriving in my new job, and I am trying to live a drama free responsible life. I plan to adopt two girls from the Foster care system within the next one or two years, and just live a life of love and appreciation.

I'm so glad you're doing better, I wish my voice would go away but I don't think any type or amount of medication would work on him.

Adopting/fostering children sounds like a nice idea, if your system in the USA is anything like the UK system then they're crying out for good parents and I think you'd make a fantastic one.

My brother and his wife were looking into adopting a child but their plans were put on hold when his wife developed breast cancer, she's fine now so I hope they try again soon, they'd both make great parents.

On another note we had a great Halloween here, we gave away 163 goodie bags and my brother and his wife turned up as Jawa's from Star Wars this year :)

It would be a good opportunity now to try a psychoeducation program or at least read the medical and psychological perspective related to your diagnosis. It will build up your confidence and it will protect you from whatever harsher period you would experience in the future

Thank you NWiddi. I have really appreciated your insights and support on this forum.

Your Halloween sounded like fun! I don't really have children in my life, so I don't get to celebrate Halloween really. When I become a Foster mom, I will have many Halloweens to look forward to.
