Hi there,
I have psychosis not had an episode in about a year. Just not to sure if what i am hearing is thoughts in my head or voices.
I hear in my mind to kill myself, that i am better of alone not to let anyone in my life cos everyone just lets me down/hurts me in the end and that i am no good for anyone not a decent person, not worth knowing, not worth having friends. nobody likes me. I am better of dead. Just negative stuff is what goes on inside. I hear it on a daily basis mainly when i am alone. Few years ago i cut out everyone in my life and just had my husband, they where the signs of my first episode but nobody picked it up til 4 years later . i feel like going back to that

Voices sound like real voices but nobody is there. The first time I heard them I went outside to look to see who was speaking (shouting).

There are also intrusive thoughts which are painful thoughts that enter the mind without warning, and often feel like external messages.

Hi,
Welcome to the forum, sorry your having these thoughts/voices.
Do tell your dr about this. Don't listen to them you are a worthy person and shouldn't die.
Hope you feel better soon.
Take care

Hi potentbee

just wanted to say welcome to the forum. :welcome:

I am sorry you are experiencing this. When I have voices inside or outside my head that are relentlessly negative, It is often because I am also depressed.

in my experience, voices and intrusive thoughts don't tell the truth. So keep hold of the thought that what they are saying is not true. I hope you can get some help with this soon.

honestly,
you are not ill but you could be
so,
do some sports in the morning to maintain positive outlook and preserve body weight
follow with psychiatrist , choose one that is clever not failure
and surpass this distress successfully
