My entire body aches as if I have the flu without the stomach issues and I have chronic fatigue. This has been going on for months in conjunction with depression, and at least 4 years I've had less intense aches and pains.
My doctors ran a bunch of tests and nothing came up. Fortunately my psychiatrist is choosing meds that help with neuropathic pain. I think maybe fibromyalgia but am waiting for an appointment with a specialist and it will be months.

Anyone else experiencing this kind of pain with depression?

Yes when it is a major depression, i have the flu body aches. Currently, i feel like i am running a fever but i know it is the depression. I know that my temperature is normal according to a thermometer, but i am sweating and keep taking my sweater off and putting it back on again. I am only like that until medication starts to help. I thought it was only depression that caused that. I didn't know anything else could.

Yes , I have during longer episodes of depression - but without the chronic fatigue. It is good, despite the very long wait, that you are going to have an appointment with a specialist as both fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome can occur alongside or trigger depression. As these conditions have many symptoms in common, identifying which conditions are present and which symptoms belong to which condition does require specialist diagnosis - especially as there can be different treatment implications for a symptom depending on the condition that is causing it.

I hope your meds help you get on top of things until your appointment comes around!!

There are also deficiencies that are caused by our medication. Mine leach some important vitamins and although i take supplements, i never have the ideal amount of iron for one.
