I have only just seen your post.
I am so sorry no one has replied.

I hope you haven’t slipped back.
What you have achieved is so good.
It is dreadful when the people and not the drugs are
the problem.
This happens so often.

Although drugs were not my problem I bitterly regret
some of the things I revealed.
Especially to the so called “professionals “
The way you were created is disgusting.

The thoughts of going back to using what we thought
was helping us are so strong when we are feeling that
life is becoming impossible.

Please keep posting.
There are many people here who understand what
you are going through.
Am here to help if you need me.

Unfortunately, I am not an alcoholic. I drink maybe once a month...if that.

I used to be drunk all the time, because of my old job. Now it's just recreational.

@Pollypop thanks, haven't slipped back and I'm trying not to have plans to. It's hard for everyone right now and I'm not looking to make it harder.

I’m so pleased you have fought the thoughts.
Keep on thinking the way you are now about not using them.
I love that you are saying you don’t want to make things harder.

Your post sounds to have a lot of positivity in it.
Keep on doing what you are, to stay clean.
You have seen the benefits of not using.

Take care.
