Hello, i’ve been dealing with an eating disorder for a while, and i’m in recovery but almost none of my friends know about it. The other day, one of my friends told me that they have had some disordered eating behaviors. I don’t know what to do, i know what it’s like and it makes me sad thinking about my friend dealing with this. I just want her to stop now before it gets worse. Any advice?

Be honest tell your friend youre concerned because youve been there and you dont want to see them go down that road and do your best to give advice

I would give her guidance but not tell you your story at this time. She will just think think her situation is not the same as yours was. There's a lot of rationalizing that goes on with an ED that is hard to stop.
