Has anyone tried this? I'm going for it next Thursday. It's looking very helpful for OCD.
It's a little different from ERP, which I have used on myself after very extensive research, which does help but only after a lot of pain, and which I hate, hate, hate but if the stuff is on your mind already, might as well go for it.
I don't know enough about ACT to have an opinion yet.

Self taught myself ACT from self help books, I really like the approach although I have not been able to implement it as effectively as I would like. If I could find a local practitioner, I'd definitely give it a go.

It would be great if you could post how you get on with the therapy, let us know if you get good results and if the gains as swift as they say.
