I do not know where to post this, sorry if it is not the right place.

A have a big problem with cognitive functions, for example I forget a lot, doing math becomed complicated, I cant focus and so on. The hardest part is with memory.

And because my doctor had no answer tp my problem I'm just wandering if the cause is abusing anxiolitics (especially bromazepam) for more than one year, 3 years ago. I was taking between 8 mg to 12 mg (or maybe more, dont remember well) in one dose for several days, then stop for a few days and do it again. The cognitive problems started later 1 year ago which is kind of strange.

I would like to know what are your experiences with abusing anxiolitic or other similar medication. If they damaged your mental health and how?

I had a lot of stress in the last 2 years and I could think of this as another potential cause of my cognitive decline, but still I cant think that stress affect you so bad in this regard.
It's not like what you see in anxiety and related other mental health problems. Is a sever form and I feel that I'm not able to overcome or improve this.
I have to mention that I wasnt borned with a learning disability, in fact I was learning very quick and no memory or focus problems.
Dementia excluded because I'm not at that age when ussualy appears.
( my diagnoses in adulthood: first hyperkinetic syndrome (ADHD),tthen chronic stress and anxiety, bipolar, cptsd, OCD).
I been through traumatic events from year 2013 to present, all this time I did not had not even a free year from them, just from 1 to 6 maximum month on year, if I remember well..but in the last 2 years I had no break from them.
Which one is the main cause I dont know.
Sorry if I wrote a bit disorganised, if is not intelligible, forget it.

So again, I would like to know if you experince something similar (cognitive problems) and what you and your doctor think has caused this.
Thank you.

And sorry for the wrong title, now I realised does not fit with content. I wanted to talk only about abusing anxiolitics, then something else comed into my mind.
