A Straight Talking Introduction to Psychiatric Drugs by Joanna Moncrieff

Should be read by anyone currently taking, or thinking about taking, a psychotropic drug; anyone prescribing them and anyone party to their use. It offers a radically different and sobering view as to what the drugs do compared with the views on offer elsewhere.. You can find out more and order the book here

Hello Paul

Just picked up a leaflet about chlorpromazine, and it says on it that little babies should be given it in only a life saving emergency, duh, and after that small children up to the age of 6, 40 mg of chlorpromazine, and for adults, 25 mg of chlorpromazine x 3 a day increasing the dosaage by 25 mg for easing of symptoms should they persist!! Then it says if overdosing, contact emergency servicesx immediately and under no circumstances leave it. Isn't this all contradictory?
