I am 'lazy'

I am a 'coward'

I should be happy

My depression helps me in some way

My depression is my fault

I am knowledgeable

Other people are knowledgeable

My depression is caused by my situation

My thoughts are reliable

My emotions are reliable

I will be punished (for something)

'My' emotions are mine

NOTE: all the above beliefs are false, although some may appear to be
true on first reading. It is necessary to think about them

I hate to gatecrash the mutual admiration party but I can only count 13 - unlucky for some.

Was number 14 the clincher?

Its worth pointing out that the 14 false beliefs in the 1st post of this thread
are genuinely false, & aren't just "positive affirmations" that may or may not be true but which would help you if you believed in them,

So that says that the depressed people were actually right because they truly didn't influence the result , it was random? Or did I misunderstand ?

Depressed people are just as knowledgeable as others in most ways and more so about the pain of depression, it depends what you mean by knowledgeable. If number 14 is the NOTE then everything in that is false too, the beliefs are all true and it doesn't require thinking about.

So I take it someone miscounted then. Or was number 14 the NOTE?
