Default I Feel Stuck In My Illness

like a fly in a spider web, struggling to find a way out.

I start with a new Psychologist next week and I'm looking forward to it.

I have managed to move forward in my way of Isolating myself but not very far. Its like I literally don't know how to do it.

I am almost (but not quite) as isolated as I was when I was "rescued" by my last therapist.

I don't want to go back to him, because he kept me waiting once too often, but I have high hopes this new therapist will be more helpful.

And I have to make moves myself to resurrect a new life, one that is nothing like what I had before.

Hope it goes well with the new psychologist BDU.

I have high hopes, she comes recommended and apparently is a GP also so can prescribe.

Its a new clinic because FINALLY someone has woken up and realized there is no MH services down here.

Yes I am really looking forward to it. I need to get this shite with my kids sorted, if not with them, at least with Myself.

And start moving forward. I've inched forward in my recovery; now I'm ready to run.

Well, I'm glad to hear that you're recovering and 'ready to run', I've never heard you as bleak as you were over Christmas.

It's just awful feeling like that and I was worried about you.

      My best wishes BDU. XX

The other day, I TERRIFIED myself.

      thanks for saying that.

Today, I'm ok again. Shaky, but OK.

As I have discovered recovery is not consistent. We have good days and bad days, super days and bloody awful days, but as long as the overall movement of the trajectory is up, it is still recovery.

Just wish my recovery was a little more evenly balanced.

      me too.

its like waking up in a tent on the African Plains.

What will attack me today? what's waiting just outside the tent flap?

Hopefully, nothing. But things can strike that you didn't even notice, they are so slithery and well camouflaged they sneak up on you.
