I'm so scared. The terror I feel is so strong. If it doesn't stop it feels like I will have to die to make it stop. I don't even know what I'm scared of. I'm walking home fromwork. Yesterday I had a panic attack at work. I don't know why.

I typed a reply it disappeared, just to let you know there are ways round this fear - you don;t have to die to be rid of it. Are you having any therapy at all? Try to be with people you know and stay close.

'But I don’t want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
'Oh, you can’t help that,' said the Cat. 'We’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.'
'How do you know I’m mad?' said Alice.
'You must be,” said the Cat. 'or you wouldn’t have come here.'

Well that will be a good start, you just have to try to hold on, do you know any pratices that you learnt in therapy before? I have a safe place that I created in my mind, think of somewhere thats important and calm and serene for you - take yourself there in your mind, imagine the smells, sounds and what's there - this works for me, but it is also hard to do - but if you keep practicing you will get there. Its a safer place to be sometimes.
What are your fears based upon, the past or something now?
Take it easy

Hugs huni.
Have u got a mht or a cpn as they could be doing a lot more for u. U need to write these fears down and give to ur mht if u have one. If u dont then I suggust u go see ur gp tell him ur fears and ask to be referred to ur nearest mht and that u need a cpn. A cpn will be able to complete a care plan with u and if or when ur in crisis and phone them u will be able to speak to any one and they will already have ur information in front of them x x
Been in a similar state this week myself. Its awful, overwhelming and scary as hell. There as to be something that's causing it though. I know what mine is, so try and relax (belly breathing helps me relax) and patiently try and figure out what might be causing all this.
I know that death can seem like the only option at times, have had those thoughts this week. But they'll pass, and you'll realise that other options are out there. Good that your returning to therapy. Stay strong.
Hi, as others have suggested, there has to be a reason which is making you feel like this... yes, exploring the reason why is obviously needed here, in order for you deal with it. I suggest that you are helped in this 'exploration of your thoughts', by a professional or by someone that knows you well and you are close to, who would give you comfort and support, and in whom you have trust, in what could become a traumatic experience for you.
Take care, be safe.
