loosing ''so called'' friends

hi.
what would you do?
I travelled 300 miles south to visit my friends and family, but one girl in particular who I been 'friends' with for over 10 years said she was 'too tired' to meet up with me.
I did a 15 hour round trip!! ffs... 'too tired' I almost choked, she's had notice, it's not like I turned up unannounced.
So I deleted her off Facebook and blocked her number in my phone, don't need to be made to feel disposable, after all this time...she neva sends me a crimbo card or birthday card.
I don't get anything posotive from the relationship, she'll ring me, dump and moan, the go off to her life, probably alot lighter from a good off load to me. Sick of it.

Infact what is real friendship? will any of you tell me?

I feel like everyone I kno uses me as a dumping ground for their problems. They don't have fun with me, don't do fun activities, jus phone up moan and go away again.

Another girl upset me .......... she phoned last night late, drunk....said ''so what's happened with you and Mike then?'' (Mike my boyfriend)
I asked what she meant
She said ''you know''
I replied ''no I don't know, what exactly are you getting at?''
she repeated it again, and I said ''is there something you're trying to tell me? or something I should know?''
then she started saying ''oh am sorry I wouldn't say anything bad, I'm your old friend, you can trust me''
I told her I wont speak to her while she's drunk she making no sense. She hung up on me.......WTF?? I was so upset I had to ring the Samaritans.

She and her hubby have upset me on many occasions and I've had to ring the Samaritans.

Think am gonna jack her off too.

Both those people sound like dicks. If your first reaction is to dinghy them, then i would trust it.

I agree with u. I have very little friends because of instances like your describing. I simply just don't trust people. I give and care in relationships and i get nothing back in return. I use this forum as my outlet. Knowing that there's others out there like me is comforting. You can get way better friends then that! Even if u have no friends its better to have none then to have friends like that.
