Lightbulb your opinion on Living Wills ???

I am interested in being able to make a Living Will, as I do not wish to have C.P.R .. Its a subject I have long been interested in, and to me its a completely logical step to put in place for the future .. I am so prepared and convinced of this, I would also like to have D.N.R tattoed on my chest .. .

**I hope that I have posted this topic in an OK part of the forum ** and I look forward to other members viewpoints, opinions and advice thanks for reading!x

I think the best thing to do is get legal advice if you can to make sure that your wishes would be respected should the situation arise.
Life is a rollercoaster you've just gotta ride it

I agree with SP, you're best off getting legal advice.

Personally, I'm all for living wills. I believe we have a right to say what medical treatment we do and don't wish to receive should the occasion arise. Having said that, I also believe in euthanasia.

I think that day is drawing ever closer, Unloved. Having watched my sister and nan suffer with cancer, I hope the day is sooner rather than later. Bad enough to hear my nan begging for her suffering to be ended, and to have to watch my sister dying in front of me at 17 years old. If euthanasia's not legalised, I'll be off to Dignitas without hesitation

I'm so sorry you had to go through that, confused. My sister was diagnosed 8 weeks before she died. Twenty four years on and I still remember her tearful, weak pleas for us to leave her alone. She had no dignity left at all.
