Just returned to work, reasonable adjustments?
I've just returned to work after being off for four months.
I'm bipolar, and work in a call centre and the job in question has always affected my illness and has made it worse (I went off a year or so before this, and when I got back work were really understanding and gave me other duties for about four months but once I got back to the phones, things started to detariorate again).
This time, I was being bullied by a colleage (she ended up stealing my iphone, outside of work). I've told work about this, and they said they'd make sure I don't have to come into contact with her.
So where have they sat me? Right next to her!
I'm on Abiligy 10mg and was doing soooo well while I was off. Now I'm back on the phones, no easing me in or anything. I'm crying every night and all I want to do is sleepl, I can't go on like this. It really is the job making me worse, not least due to where they have placed me. Being on the phone causes me so much stress it's unbelievable.
Can anyone advise where I stand? Do workl actually have to do anything at all? I'm in the UK by the way.

Hi Minerva_mcgonagall
Welcome back to the foroum well done for posting.
Well done for returning to work it must have been difficult for you be proud of yourself it takes a lot of strength after being off for a while.
So sorry to hear of the person that is bullying you i have been bullied so i understand that is out of order them knowing how you feel about her and they sit you next to one another have you got a supervisor you can talk to?.
Sorry i cant advise much more please go back to your GP and tell them how you are feeling, are you or have you been on therapy? if not go back to your GP and say you need extra support.
Hope everything works out for you soon.
I knew if i changed jobs i would be a bit more happier so i understand.
