      Default Dbt Resistance

Hi group, haven't written in awhile...

i started dbt last night but lost it and tried to leave...i was hysterical crying and the therapist had me hold ice to my face to calm down.

should i go back and give it a try, it's the ONLY thing that helps borderlines alleviate pain and turmoil

i have to get off this rollercoaster.

      Hi!
thought i hadnt heard from you in a while.
You need to stick with the therapy! it does hurt at first but keep with it.
Right now you need to distract yourself. can you watch tv or surf the internet or just read some of the posts and chat until you feel a bit better?

      Hi Foxjo!

i was given a emotion regulation and opposite action.

i'm mad cus i drank a huge beer before group , not a GOOD thing at all, also, i am always triggered by this guy i'm 'in love with', the American Airlines pilot i had that fun date with........................well, he's so busy with his kids and flying that when he doesn't respond i sink into the abandonment pit of hell. however he is doing well to be my friend and set VERY strict boundaries.

hence, i want to stick with dbt twice a month (it's 50.00 a session) and just ride out the discomfort.

i did NOT like the girls there at all, they was so f. cold but i'm there for me not them right?

      PA

      thx**
