      Have you ever wanted to avoid thinking about a particular experience or topic only to find that it continually intrudes into your thoughts and activities? And the more you try to suppress the thought the more intrusive it becomes? Wegner, a Harvard University Professor, terms these thoughts “white bears” and after encountering these thoughts 25 years ago, delved into research on thought suppression

      A good article, thank you quality factor...
      I have problem with never stopping thoughts about suicide, or death, and about dietary supplementation... I'm obsessed with thoughts that I don't get enough of something, and that I maybe take too much of some other stuff like Iron supplements... And I can't stop it...
      I hate this...
      It's constantly present in my mind, and distracts me from day to day activities and sometimes induces insomnia...
