is bpd behaviour. may i ask what you display that you know
is your bpd. iv just been transfered from brighton
to linwood mh team and they are going to re assess
me and asses me for the steps program. so any

      Hiya aroobixcube

to the forum. I am sorry to be the one to answer because I do not have BPD. I think the forum is really quiet this evening, and lots have disappeared for some reason. I wanted to welcome you and did not want you to think no-one cared. They are lovely on the forum, so don't take it personally if it takes a while to be answered, OK?

I have bipolar and I also sometimes don't know what is normal and what is not. I think if you are comfortable with your behaviour and no-one else is hurt by it, then what does it matter? I'm learning to become an eccentric old lady, so I am practising now with odd behaviour. LOL

I hope someone else comes on soon to talk to you Take care xxx

Oh and it might be an idea to post in the actual borderline personality forum itself, otherwise others might miss you. Just a thought xx

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I wish I could answer your question, but I am struggling with the same question myself right now.

I don't have a BPD dx but a mixed one with borderline traits. I think the borderline bit is the mood swings - I go from very high to very low. I would like to think that my occasional bed temper is the borderline bit. The reacting badly to change thing I think is the borderline bit, although it could be the avoident bit or it could be normal - lots of people I know don't like change.

I hope your re assesment goes well.

      Hey Aroobix,

It's a hell of an illness, isn't it? I would say, more, for long periods of time, although, I don't work and my social life has become non-existent so that could explain it, in return (so that I may separate what is a symptom of an illness and what is to do with the drug). Do you dream lucidly (either, very strongly, or know that you're dreaming)! Do you slip into a dream whilst having these thoughts and then dream about them? Do you have repetitive dreams about one or two specific subjects, with almost always, the same, five or six, players??? And, lastly, do you find yourself, waking up, having called something out, or flailing or jerking an arm or a leg)? Thank You, please, throw questions at me, you will get a better response in the 'Borderline' sub-forum though!

I have asked a lot of you, so I'll try and think back, to when I was working, in a relationship, had friends, yeah, obsessive thoughts would slip in, I do have OCD though. I used to find something to always obsess about and yes, it would often be short and then, on to the next one, if you know what I mean! Often, it was about loss, losing my job, my Girlfriend (I never, for a second, dreamed or thought that I would lose all of my Friends though). Do you find your periods of short obsession, have a theme aroobixcube???

      Stuey,

Come on to the Sub-Forum, they'll be loads of peeps willing to share their experiences too!
