When I was 'high' last year I wrote loads. I could just write for hours I could also draw for hours too and the hospital I was at had an art room where I spent all of my time. This is a really interesting idea for a thread, thanks for posting! x

I have been steeped in English language and literature since I was a boy. In high school I excelled in every subject (90th percentile) except math which I found dismally boring. I went on to university and took my bachelor's degree in English Literature. I definitely have talent, but the problem is finding time to write, as writing is a very time-consuming occupation. I'm praying that my illness takes a long holiday and that life situation will improve and allow me more time to actually write. So far this year I have written about 100,000 words, but I know I could do better if some things changed for the better.

I write. I usually am a numbers man, but when I'm feeling good the words start flowing. I write both poetry and sports articles.

Here's a quick one relevant to these forums:

I'm involved in quite a lot of creative pursuits including painting / drawing , electronic music production , writing poetry, web and graphic design , making and editing videos / animations and films.

      Artwork - Chris Godber Art
      electronic music - BrokenGod
      poetry - http://www.facebook.com/ChrisGodberPoetry
      video - https://vimeo.com/user10486393/videos
      design - Posters / Design - Flickr

I am very scatterbrained with my creativity though I dip into all the above quite haphazardly apart from the painting which I do nearly every single day, and the poetry more often now.
