How long did you run the new IE8 browser? Give it a few weeks to build cache, memorize pages, keeps copies on disk, which speeds it up with time. Opera and Netscape are both free. I use Opera, opens multiple pages with tabs at the top; and I love that start page thingy.
Added more memory (1 gig) to mine, to speed it up.

It's not you, this site has always been that way. Just a hand full of steady posters; a few dozen overall. The yahoo group is the same way; and so are the MPD dissociation groups.

Haven’t you heard this is a compassion and support place. You can not have any religious / out of the box thinking without conflict. So most people here are smart by not posting.

Somebody here posted about a site called the Icarus Project. To me they got it set up pretty good, they got there compassion area then they got there area where they can debate about ideas. A well rounded forum.

Compassion, support, exchanging information and ideas as well as sharing coping methods can all be combined to make a well rounded forum as well as a well rounded person.
Personal attacks are not acceptable nor should they be tolerated.
Disagreeing or agreeing can be managed in a non threatening manner and should be always.
There might be more posters perhaps if they saw exchanges of information with support, sensitivity, compassion and an altruistic approach.

The statistics that I've seen, the number of hearers has went wild since 2004, and I don't know why. This may be some sort of phase or something, I dunno. Might try to look at it as an awakening, and many have suggested that we need to ask "what is it that you need me to see" everyday.

Well part of this could be by the popularity of methamphetamine’s, I’m a casualty of this. I was hooked for about four years before the voices came. I couldn’t handle taking the drugs with the voices, so in reality the voices got me to stop. The guys that I did meth with all have heard voices (they won’t openly admit it, because of the label thing) So I think meth is a big factor with the voice hearing phenomena

Also the fact that the internet brings more people together also brings voice hearing to the noticing point.

Drugs make my voices unbearable also. The yahoo group also has a large number of hearers due to drugs.

My opinion; the main thing for us is quality of life, that we must have some joy in our lives, or we self-destruct. Have to get out now and then; have to have some form of social activity. Quite surprising to see all of the positive effects with the free mental dating websites, where people find pals like themselves. I've seen cases where 4 or 5 of them get together regularly, meet in groups, coffee, dinner, and/or movies, church, etc...

It's sad that hearers are so extremely rare, when we know damn well that the entire population is merely clueless. When you look at how we're treated, it becomes quite obvious that the joke actually is on them, not us. They're being baited...

I'm still actively seeking the magic combination with the metallic ear plugs, or relative, to banish... Prayer along with conjuring, summoning, and invocation of white spirits. Also watching the dreams and visions very closely; and asking for audible revelations. Hoping to finally get some answers, to resolve.

I'm also very angry, bitter, confounded by all of this; which has me looking for some answers. Why? Why?

My two cents,

I think one of the differences between Z's perspective and rabina's criticism is based on the various postures or relations they have with voices. I listened to half of one of Rabina's tape, and it appears to me that she in part and in a significant way, underestimates the identity of her voices, and is giving them advice, that they would knowing think is a joke, there would be no changes to my voices, if i said stuff like that to them, the basic premises of who and what they are are incorrect. Not only was the person on the tape not channelling voices, the responses appeared to becoming from a third source. So unless she was interviewing people who hear voices, the tape makes no sense. I confronted the opinions and statements of my voices with normal forms of human psychology but did not go against god, or AAG as Jenny says.

And i do not think the channel is the result of one perv, rather I think "perv" information is about the members of the spirit world, and what you can expect about them while trying to control perception that relates to the convienent lone gunman theory.

also ... metallica heavy metal is only so good, but they put on a fun show.

Well, Rab thinks of the voice as some lost soul, stuck in pergatory, afraid of the light, or somesuch, and keep in mind that her particular religion supports this 100%. I tried to tell her that he's probably lying and laughing at her as gullible, prank, but her case might be unique, different. Who am I to say?

There's another problem to consider here, which is that they can influence her opinions, beliefs, perceptions. She is totally green in that area (comfort zone, CZ). Not me.

I said one perv, but what I meant was one "principal" or leader who is calling the shots, running the show. I've always referred to him as "John".

Your last paragraph, well, quality of life is key; and there are other options besides openly selling out/over. Joining a strong church, I think that we are usually taken into that spiritual hedge of protection, but at the same time it's pretty much the same bowl of soup. No freedom/resolve there, either. Snake oil.

The faith is very strange in the midst of this. I get the sense that divinity is pretty much hands-off. He does seem to check in on me now and then, but nothing further. Open season... Do what thou wilt... It's always been this way here...
